Since 1997, Alcon Entertainment has financed and produced over 20 films, including the Academy Award nominated "The Blind Side", which earned Sandra Bullock a Best Actress Oscar, "The Book of Eli," starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman and "Dolphin Tale," a 3-D family film starring Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr., and Ashley Judd. Most recently, the company released the films "What To Expect When You're Expecting" based on the best-selling book of the same name and "Chernobyl Diaries" from "Paranormal Activity" director Oren Peli. It will next release "Beautiful Creatures". Alcon's films are primarily released via the company's long standing output deal with Warner Bros.
